i bought some trad only arrows from 3 rivers there good arrows but im having trouble keeping the fletchings on them nothing seems to hold i was wondering if anyone else had this problem i have had other carbon arrows and never had this problem i am wondering if it is the woodgrain finish on them i have used ducco coment and another actual fletching glue

TRY FLETCH TIGHT AND ALSO TAKE SOME ALCOHOL AND GIVE THE AREA FOR THE FLETCHING A GOOD WIPE.YOU COULD HAVE SOME OIL OR RESIDUE ON IT.sorry for the bold print
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

what lpcjon2 said.  Wipe them down really well with rubbing alcohol, then use fletch tite platinum and you'll be all set.  Easton's and Beman (I'm pretty sure they make the 3 rivers arrows) seem to always need a good cleaning with alcohol when you first get them or else I can never get fletching to stick well.

ps.  I've had the 3 rivers trad only 500's and they are great shafts!

I use fletch tite platinum also and wipe down with 90% achohol forst also and have great results no fletching problems ever.

I just got some as well, about a month ago.  I used the fletching tape and have not had any problems yet.
