Dave, glad to hear it worked out, and that you're doing well.

As far as your advice of getting out when and as much as you can, I can relate.  After being diagnosed with cancer and going through 8 months of chemo I realized I had put somethings off, like bowhunting, because I had plenty of time.  Well, the cancer made me rethink my priorities and realize the importance of seizing opportunities to do those things I had put off.

Glad you are doing well. Looks like someone was looking out for you. I have a hog hunt planned in Feb. Hope my new Black Swan is done by then.

David,

Doesn't suprise me...you've been given away bits of your heart for all the years I've been on this site...

You, Sir, are a person among many trad gang members I'd like to meet and shake hands and buy dinner.

Scary to hear, with my dad's family heart history, how stress tests don't cut the mustard...and you can still have major blockage...

With the current state of my health coverage, I couldn't afford to have tests anyway... guess I don't buy bacon, huh?  :)

Continue to mend well and pay attention to the subtle signs... indigestion often isn't from what I hear with your and my family history.

Keep them asprin handy and taken daily.

Keep the Son in your eyes, Hoss.

I belong to the same heart club.On Dec. 27/08-I had an incident right out of the blue.I am a type 2 diabetic--my wife and I were getting ready to go out and I started to get very warm--then started to sweat-then sweat buckets--then it looked like I went swimming in my clothes.
911 here we come.At hospital I got the super Drano drug[clot buster]--then transport to Heart Institute 35 miles away.Had the catheter--Then was told 4 blockages 3 between-90-95 % and the 4th. not as bad[whatever that meant].Immediately had 2 stents put in--I could breath better--then 2 days later had the 3rd. one done---did not do no.4 as it was at end of artery. Said not critical---
Amazing surgery-- went through my wrist--boy it is a funny feeling lying there awake knowing that a doctor is working in your heart.
Here we are 1 year later--I am in better shape now--than I have been for a while-------
There was no pain of any kind--and apparently diabetics have THEIR CARDIAC INCIDENT this way usually-----------so watch guys--right out of the blue---no warnings.I had been at my regular DRS.2 weeks before and nothing showed up in tests.

Glad to hear you are o.k. Its true, life is so short. Enjoy it NOW ! My dad had a heart attack at work and I had to take him to the E.R. a few years back. He pulled through and swore he would start doing the things he wanted. Now I'm afraid he's slipped back into the stress and troubles of owning a business. I keep telling myself I won't let that happen to me.
Best wishes to you !
