I recently picked up two Dale Dye Trails End recurves. While the bows are very beautiful and shoot better than anything else I own, it's the grip that really impresses me. It's really hard to torque it. You really have to go out of your way to torque it. Not that you should, but my point is that it is very difficult to do with his grip. I definetly feel it's a major reason these bows are performing so well for me. Kudos to Dale for his bows.

Yep its all in the grip for me to, my Widow and my Morrison have grips like you are talking about.      

I'm not much of a fan of recurve grips but the one piece Dale Dye I had the grip felt great on it.A grip can be a personsl preference,find the one that you like and fits you the best.

I agree. Dale dye grips are tops. Just one more part of a terrific bow.

I have a few bows on my rack and I really believe that the fit of the grip has more to do with accuracy that anything else on the bow. And yet I think for the most part it is always overlooked. More people comment on the speed of the bow, the draw, the laminations, the size. All good things but not contributing to accuracy as much as the grip.

I made a copy of one of my Dyes and gave the grip to Bob Morrison. He copied the grip to perfeection before he got a CNC machine. he should still  be able to copy the grip.

The Dye is a favorite grip of mine as well. I recently acquired a Dale Stahl bow that also has a "yummy" feeling grip.  The best grips for me fill the palm area nicely, aiding consistancy.
