Steve, do you have any idea of a head count?  Seems like a lot less people posting here than in years past.

Tim...there has been less posting..might be economy related..but for the most part we should have the same group..plus i can think of close to 15-20 newbies that havent been there... We'll be pushing 15-20 from just my trad league...and some of those are new faces. I'm going to guess it will be about the same...It seems as if the posting has dried up on the mtb and mla forums also.... I wouldnt be surprised if we have are normal 50 hunters...We also had it advertise in sticktalk......the more the merrier ..looking forward to it.!!!!

Sounds great man.  I was hoping we would have a good turn out.  I was just starting to get a little worried.

Well boys, it's not going to happen for me this year.  I've been trying to get things in order for me to make it down but just can't swing it.
Have to be coaching at my son's games.  This will be his last year of b-ball on saturdays, next year will be 7th grade ball during the week.  I am marking my calendar for next years stomp.   Have a great time- smoke an arrow or two for me through the iron bunny- and be safe to everyone.   Dave

Steve,
I'm still working on the MO hunt.  Been a busy winter for me, doing too much service work and not enough desk time.....  I'll get in touch with you soon, may have a line on a late march scouting trip (couple guys heading out- may be able to join them).  I'll PM you when I get more details.

Will there be a swap meet or a table to sell items at? I have a bow,a KOM Bushman shirt, some other old camo that doesn't fit and a few other items that I could bring to sell.

jacobsladder

Robert ... unfortunately we dont have a table to sell items at.  Our goal is to hold a raffle and auction to benefit the St Jude children. I like the idea but am afraid it would distract from the main cause.  You can surely bring an extra bow to see if someone has interest. We also appreciate any donations to the raffle table... We do our best to try and send everyone home with something...looking forward to seeing you all on saturday!!

I know I will be there, Mitch might come again too and his brother Brent but I'm not 100% sure if they are coming.  We have been talking about it since November haha.  Brent has a beagle, great dog, and I'm trying to have him bring her if he comes. Looking forward to coming again, had a blast last year.

Finished the wingbones for the raffle.  Turned out a little more "fragile" than I expected  (not sure the beads and junk would stay on if used roughly in the woods.)  The calls won't fall apart but may not be as eye appealing afterward.     :smileystooges:

I also came down very sick and have not tuned them at all.  ( Just so ya know,  I have wiped them with bleach wipes just in case      ).  I feel like I am letting people down but they are what the are and I am happy with how they look.

Praying this crud goes away before Saturday, or at least enough that I can come up and join y'all.     :banghead:

Oh yea... here's a pic of them:

Finished with artificial sinew, leather lanyard and misc wild turkey feathers.

Crossing my fingers to meet y'all on Saturday.
