Yep bring it up to 7 - 7 1/2 I put a new string in with it and didn't shoot it.  Might take a little while to get it to settle.

Yeah, I set it at 7 1/4 and started on the nock height. Have it at 3/8".
I have some 2016s and 2018s for another bow; Shooting them with 100 grain points.
Here is my best 15 yard group, so far:

This little bow will force a good release.
The green-fletched arrow all by itself was the last one. Just threw it out there I guess.
This bow will make me shoot my bows better.

I'll suggest you have your feathers lined up better than I did. Cut the top of my hand up.  :smileystooges:

You might have the nock pt a bit low if your hitting yoru hand with the fletch.

Thanks. Other than Old Buck, all of the bows I have shot have had a big shelf. Fletch contact on my hand was nonexistant.

Brent contacted me today and told me the Shaman is headed to Alabama later this week.  Anxiously awaiting its arrival.  Deer season is heatn up here in the south!

This is my 28 yard group (measured with a 100' tape, not estimated).
Imagine this is the kill zone on a vile black hog. That's what I do.
I raised the nock height to a little more than 1/2" and it really helped. Thanks, Wingnut.

I'll be shipping the bow off today. Won't have the daylight to shoot any more during the remainder of the week.

Martin,

Thanks for giving the Shaman a workout. Got some good info. Nice shooting.

How do you cook that hog?

Got a note the Shaman is awaiting pickup at the post office Monday morning.  Anxious to string her up!

Sorry the shipping took so long. Doesn't exactly seem like "priority". :(

It's Christmas and 2-3 day priority can take a week.  Happens every year.  LOL

I really feel for the all the fine folks working for USPS, UPS and the other private carriers.  Heck the UPS guy dropped a package off here the other night at 9:30.  He is usually here about 4.

The Shaman World Tour has made it to Alabama.  What a neat little bow.  I shoot 64" lonbgows and 60" recurves so my initial reaction when I opened up the box was "wow - this is a little bow!"  I assembled it and strung it up and was immediately impressed though.  Great craftsmanship.  It was dark so I turned on the yard lights and shot maybe 50 arrows through it.  Within minutes I was shooting some "heart-sized" groups at 20 yards.  This is gonnna be fun!  More updates as I get to spend more time playing with it.  Hopefully I can squeeze in a hunt before I send it off to the next lucky guy.

Good to hear it made it to Bama. Hope you have some luck afield with it. Look forward to your feedback. Merry Christmas.

This thread will be a good and long read!

Sorry we couldn't make it work Brent, I shall be strict with the Norwegian Postal Service, so that they will make this kinda stuff easier in the future  :D
Or maybe I'll just move to the States! Probably easier, lol!

To everyone, enjoy the shooting, and keep writing the good stuff!

I got home before dark tonight so I was able to shoot some more and get the bow set up.  The first pic is a group shot with broadheads from 10 to 25 yards.  I think she's ready to hunt. Unfortunately its going to blow hard and rain all day tommorow.  Ughhh!
