Check with REI they have a surprisingly good wool hat collection. At least the one near me does.

I have the Gray Wolf Bomber, KOM Boonie and the KOM Bomber, and like them all.  I have found the Boonie is good for cool weather, the GW Bomber works well down to about 0 degrees, and the KOM Bomber is best below zero.  Anyway, that is the way I use them.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

How about a 100% wool jeep cap made in the usa for 7bucks

I got 2 of them and they are well worth the $7

Check out the wool liner gloves for 4$ too! I got a couple pairs of them as well.

How about a camo fedora?

I've been wearing a green one for a lot of years and have always wanted to find one in just the right shade of tan/light brown and I was gonna stain it to try to match my ASAT camo.  I eventually gave up on the whole idea.

Then the other day I was in Cabellas and danged if they didn't have some felt crusher type fedoras already camoed!  They're nice and soft so the brim doesn't bother the bow string much but I'll probably add a snap to the brim and the crown both just above my right eye like I did on m green one.  Then it'll be my perfect hunting hat.

Well, here, I just looked it up on line and found it.  I got the one with the ear flaps but doubt I'll ever use them.

I bought the XL size.  I've got a big ol' melon head and usually wear a 7 1/2 (or 7 3/8 if I have a buzz haircut).  It's just a tiny bit big on me but I figure it may shrink at some point if I get it soaked in the rain.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I had my friends wife make me a fleece bucket hat. I absolutely love it. It is the only hat with a brim that doesn't interfere with my bow string. I even tried the Stormy Kromer short brim and could not shoot with it. Day One makes a hat like I am decribing called the Crusher hat. I have noticed that my ears do not get cold when wearing it. I have even been bringing a fleece headband style head warmer just in case and I have not needed it.

That one is my favorite. Wool watch-type cap from Sports Authority or Wal-Mart or such. Next is a neck aiter worn as a cap. Then that woo "jeep" cap, also known as a "Radar cap" that was listed in a link above. Didn't know you could still get them. I washed mine and it shrank... dag-nabbit!
