Too bad you weren't closer Charlie, pick up you new bow and rabbit hunt with us!!!!

I went out yesterday for a little warm up, kicked up 3 rabbits, got off 3 shots, scared the heck out of one of them and only lost 2 arrows! I chased these 3 rabbits around for about 4 hours, it was a blast!

Anybody bringing a puppy ?  I have a beagle that is not a great bunny dog but she usually works.  Slow trailer, perfect for archery hunting. I sure love to hear her.

I will likely be there as will my son, Ben.

I don't think anyone else is brining a dog.  Sure would be nice.

Jason R. Wesbrock

I would very much like to bring my beagle, but the deep snow and his old age has me a little concerned. He's healthy, but he just doesn't have as much energy as he had a few years ago. As they say in football, "it will be a gametime decision."

I'm definately bringing my 12-year-old daughter. She can't hunt (no license), but she's excited about tagging along.

Unfortunately I will be unable to make it this year.  So that means that I will also be unable to bring Squirt the chocolate lab.  Fame has gone to his head since he made the premiere issue of "TradArchers World"

At least the weather is looking a bit warmer than last year!!!

Perhaps you WI guys can come teach some NY guys how to hunt?  Imagine that a Yankee Rabbit hunt?  it could happen,

Good luck!

Ohne has to work on Saturday, so he won't be there for the hunt either.

Kevin,
Last year we had a little of everything, but that Elk sounds great.  We don't get that very often.  But, it is still up to you.

Joe,
I was wondering if Ohne was going to make it.  I am sure we will have plenty of hunting gounds to romp around on.

Since I won't be able to attend I could provide 3 pair of snowshoes that I could lean against the outside of Joe's shop for anyone that might want to use them or just try them out if anyone's interested.

Kevin Winkler

OK, Elk it is! I'll get it out of the freezer and make some type of delicious concoction.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Perhaps my boys and I will be proficient enough to fling some arrows next year. I've never hunted rabbits ever - lol.

Proficiency is NOT required Tim.  Only the desire to have a great time.

One other thing on the use of snowshoes there is no right or left for the shoe itself it's how the bindings were installed making sure that the buckle is located on the outside of the foot.  That way the buckles don't rub against each other. Have a great time.
