Hey Guys i am looking at a critter gitter so what aare your thoughts on them. From what i have heard they are great bows but thought i would run it by the experts first. Oh and if you have any pics please post them

I have been shooting Great Northern's for nearly 20 years. I started with a Critter Gitter and am shooting one now. It is a very forgiving bow, I think I have  4 or 5. You won't be disappointed.

I have owned all in there line with the exception to the traditional model. The Fireball was the bow that fit me the best followed by the Critter Gitter. I suggest giving them a call and test drive one. Great people and great bows. By the way, the Jackknife option is very nice.

I've had two Critter Gitters. Why I sold the first escapes me now.  I won't make that mistake again with the second.  I wasn't expecting the quality of craftsmanship when the second one came.  I was overwhelmed.  I had them make the second because I shot the first so well (for me anyway).  Just seemed to fit me.  

I'm happy.

I have one Im happy with just shoot my ferguson more because i think Im trying to tame the horse. The GN was tame the day I got it shoots where I look very fun bow.

For no particular reason, I prefer the Bushbow over the Critter Gitter...just like the wider, flatter limb with no tip overlays.  Both shoot great, and are hunting quiet without any fuss.

No one does simple better than Great Northern.

I really liked the performance and quietness of my fireball. Only reason i switched to a hill is because I wanted a longer bow.  Very good craftsmanship and Jerry is a hell of a guy.

I've always wanted to get a Ghost.  Shot one once and it was smooooth.  But all there bows are made for hunters - forgiving, flat-shooting and pointable.

I have a 62" Critter Gitter Jacknife. I have a 62" Bushbow Jacknife on order from Jerry. Top notch bows from the workmanship, performance and Jerry. You can't go wrong with a GN.

Can't go wrong with them, they are great bows.

Great bows- I like the fireball with Jacknife option, recently got a ghost with the jacknife all are great bows and fun to shoot.

What's the folded size on the Ghost? I'm curious about what the total width of both folded limbs on the reurve would be. The Critter Gitters I have fold nearly flat.

All the GN line are fine bows....I like my Bushbow.

There are more bows in my basement than I can keep track of, including some very well known and good ones.  When I hit the woods, I'm carrying my GN Critter Gitter.

The best line of bows available. Designed and built for the real world. I own three Bushbows and one Traditional. I shoot them all with great authority. I have learned that I shoot longer, narrow limbed bows (66" or so) and wider, shorter limbed bows (58"-62")the best. They are more stable and more forgiving. And I certainly shoot more mild R/D bows much better than more radical R/D bows, so these two GN bows make me so happy I could cry.

I have a 58" Ghost, and a 60" Super Ghost. Both are fantastic little bows, and I can shoot them better than any recurve i've ever owned. I wouldn't hesitate to order more!

I have just got a GN Critter Gitter jack knife Sp bow. And love it to bits.

I was shooting my Super Ghost this morning and am always amazed at how hard it hits. I also have the Traditional Longbow and have had a Fireball. All great bows from GREAT people.

Never had a Critter Getter but am watching the mail now for a new Bushbow  :-)
