I have a 3 pc Pronghorn that will be all Zebrawood with actionboo cores that will be done in Mid to end of Jan.  I will post pics when received.  Ken

Yes, the bow is screaming fast. I'm shooting it with a ten strand 8125 and I draw it twenty nine. It is about 56 to 57 pounds there and I'm shooting my 31 1/4 inch 340s with 300 grains up front. It got a good workout today on the 3D course. It really whips those arrows like darts. Dead in the hand and whisper quiet. Some don't like the grips, but other than that, you just can't complain about a pronghorn too much. It was a mind blowing experience the first time I shot one.

Thanks for posting the pics Steve O

The pictures are from Casper MT. 3D range about 12 miles from Herb Melands shop.

You might try pignut (Pete Kutney).  He is a bowyer from Maine who got Ray Hammond some very distinct Zebra wood for a Centaur and also helps Gregg Coffey at times with wood.  He is an exotic wood nut!  I know cause I get his scraps for knife handles.  He's not on that often so you can PM for his email if you want.

Here some Zebra wood he got for Gregg to do my Helm's Deep/Lil Favorite...Doc

Doc,

Thanks for the tip. I may see if Brian would like to contact him if he can't find what I'm looking for.

Zebra just has that "LOOK AT ME" thing going on.
I just love it. I only have one bow in Zebra.
I need one in Bocote....and one in Tulip wood...and one in....

I recognize the range on top of the mountain, I have donated many shafts to the arrow eaters up there.

Can't go wrong with a Pronghorn. That Zebra Wood is awesome. I'm a "Grain-Freak". Just love Bocote, Zebra, Tiger Maple etc.. This is mine, an older one from before Herb started installing the PH Coins. Just got a second set of limbs in Red Elm. Dead in hand, quiet, smokes an arrow downrange. I'm about to install her new Beavertail grip.

I have one out of the same board that was shown except mine is 66" and 53@30" it has a fiberglass backed zebra wood riser with highly figured Zebrawood veneers over amberboo cores, it is a very sweet shooting bow...PR

Those are some real nice looking woods for sure.  Billy, tell Brian that if he comes up some zebrawood looking that nice, he may have to change my Santos Rosewood veneers.

Dave, that Bocote is beautiful! Sharp quiver too, perfect match with the bow woods. My limbs are also 50# and 56# at my draw.
