Two more, is it ok to leave the 1976 bear Kodiak Hunter strung and last will repeadeted shooting [I shoot a lot] with 2117 at 30" draw hurt this bow?

Don't leave the strung bow in a hot car or leave on a heat duct. The heat could cause the bow to delaminate. Will not hurt to leave strung.

Repeated shooting should not hurt the bow. But I would keep an eye on the condition of the fiberglass. Looking for signs of stress cracks.

Don't leave the bow standing on a limb tip, it will twist the limb. Always use a bow stringer.

What Hap said, plus, try and hang it on pegs horizontally by the string or the limbs if you are going to leave it strung. I would recommend unstringing it if you aren't going to shoot it for a while.

30" with those arrows shouldn't hurt that bow at all. Those year K-Hunters were about as bulletproof as can be.

I leave my Bob Lee Hunter strung.  The guy I bought it from here said to do so.  I think more bows are damanged from stringing/unstringing than by leaving them strung!

If its only for a day or so, I leave them strung, but more than tthat, I unstring 'em. Hanging idle while strung means the limb is still under tension, and over time will start to weaken.

wow! something else i never really considered! / i was taught to unstring when not in use ( see agincourt)but that was wood bows . not sure but just seems right to take stress off limbs when not in use.

I prefer to unstring the bow. Hang it on pegs DO NOT lean it against a wall or in the corner, setting it flat under your bed is better than nothing.

Again I too have a 30 inch draw, your not going to hurt that bow and a 30 inch draw is not that unusual.....ya need to let go of that!Having a longer draw simply means you'll be shooting at a slightly higher weight than stated on the bow. Again 45#@28 inches gives the bowyer a bench march to hit that's all.
