Ok, probably been done before but how about some pics of Trad Gangers and their wives, husbands, kids and kin in the out of doors doing the things we all love.

Here's a couple to start.

Spring '09 shed hunt.  Daughter Lindsey and sons Emmett and Jacob and myself crossing a creek on a log.  We found that big 8 point rack buried in the creek mud just behind that log.

My daughter Lindsey last December 27th (Her birthday) on the Kansas City area bunny hunt re enacting her near death experience with the first bunny of the day.  Near death for the bunny that is....

And of course, we ALWAYS go to mojam!  This is Lindsey in the middle and Emmett on the right.  Don't know the other boy but he was following Lindsey around like a fly on _____.

And Lindsey and Emmett on a bunny hunt this past January or February.

This spring we went for a walk and got caught in the rain so we took shelter under a big ol' cedar tree.  They thought it was a lot of fun.

Jacob thought this curvy vine was real cool.

So, lets see some of your pictures!!!!

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

My son Connor - hunting rabbits at home.

Ft. Stockton, TX - on a javelina hunt with Dad.

Dave, I'd say your kids are on their way looking at the arrows in the bear.  Your daughter sure seems happy too!

J. Adams,

Love the picture with the bunny.  Did your boy kill that?  The last picture with the cactus behind your boy just makes my skin itch... Looks like the birds don't mind though as it appears to have a nest in it.  Amazing.

What kind of camera do you have?  Those pictures have some really nice color and focus.

Thanks Dave,

It was a combined effort on the rabbit:  Connor snuck up on this cottontail last Fall, and managed to make a crippling but non-lethal hit, so Paisley (our border collie) brought it back to him after it tried to make its escape.

I received a Sony Cyber-Shot (DSC-H10) camera for Christmas last year, and have really enjoyed it.  It is relatively compact, stows easily in a pack and takes some nice shots.

That cholla cactus does get nasty; especially if you happen to touch the "pretty blooms," as my son discovered    :scared:

Always like these threads asking for pics:

First one is of my kids and I at Sawmill this past summer. Great shoot and we had a blast!

[/IMG]

Second pic is of my son Sam with his 1st trad kill last Christmas at our family place in South Texas. To say I was one proud Dad would be an understatement!

[/IMG]

Last one is of my daughter Sara taken at some "big bucks" display. Always like seeing this one pop up on my screen saver.

Just posted this on another thread, but here's one of my son and daughter from earlier this year on an early season deer hunt / scouting trip.  He was hunting with me and she was the designated photographer.

Here's another from a late season rabbit hunt last year.  My daughter is the ninja on the left, my son is in the middle and the guy on the right is a family friend who got started hunting with us (off and on) last year or the year before...
