Can you imagine something like that as your first buck?!!?

Keeping it together for the first one is difficult enough without headgear!

Jason Kendall

Well done! That is a bruiser, there are not a lot of deer in North IA that big and to make it your first, just awesome!

    :clapper:  congrats to both of you!!! can't wait to see my son do the same.

Beautiful buck...Congratulations to the both of you.  Always makes me feel better when my son scores than when I do.

A sense of pride that can not be explained.

OK, just kidding. VERY NICE buck!!
LOL! No, Tom, I didn't have my camera with me this weekend, so we took him to Chad's (Frank's son-in-law) and he took the digital pictures for Dave.

Jason, you are right about that. We seldom SEE a buck like that in our area, much less get one in bow range. Dave earned it though. This is his third season and his first deer, so he has a lot of hours in the woods invested in this big guy.

Russ,  That's a great buck! I know how you feel...I have three sons and seeing them be successful is better than anything I have done.

Only thing I can figure is that you made him rake those leaves before taking the picture, otherwise he'd be grinning like the cat who got the canary.

Nice buck and i would have to say that i have found nothing better than downing a BIG buck. Other than the birth of my daughter and the piece that i have inside me.
