Keeping it together for the first one is difficult enough without headgear!  

Well done! That is a bruiser, there are not a lot of deer in North IA that big and to make it your first, just awesome!

LOL! No, Tom, I didn't have my camera with me this weekend, so we took him to Chad's (Frank's son-in-law) and he took the digital pictures for Dave.

Jason, you are right about that. We seldom SEE a buck like that in our area, much less get one in bow range. Dave earned it though. This is his third season and his first deer, so he has a lot of hours in the woods invested in this big guy.

Nice buck and i would have to say that i have found nothing better than downing a BIG buck. Other than the birth of my daughter and the piece that i have inside me.
