Shot this guy opening morning.  Was in a treestand for a couple of hours and didn't see anything so I got down and still hunted the edge of the timber.  Saw him trailing a doe and she passed by me at 20 yards or so and lead him right past me.  Shot with my 53# River's Edge recurve, a Wal-Mart carbon arrow and a Woodsman head on a 100 grain steel insert.

I was only able to get out for a couple of hours yesterday and seen a nice fat doe but, no bucks. I spooked her on my way to the area I hunt on the other side of Lebanon.

That is a great blacktail. Do you have a side profile pic of him also ? I have had my trali cam out in my BT spot but seem to be getting more elk than deer pics. Congrats on a very nice deer.

Very nice Blacktail,,, you sure never see any that size during "Daylight" in my neck of the woods. Sure nice to have the Rut change their normal habbits.
