Killdeer

I am SO glad I'm not draggin' that thing. It musta been like pulling a blivet through a porthole.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Whopper. That black bow is nice.
You can hop but you can't hide.

Took one arrow, a Beman 500 with an Abowyer Wapiti and a 125 steel insert, which was a bit over 300 up front..He ran about 80 yards before going down... The bow is a 48# A&H..

NCH, I was touching him with my knees, I was sitting back on my heels, so my body was a foot or so behind the pig... Have the blood and stink on my jeans, lol..
Good Lord Almighty    :scared:  THAT thar then would be a HOSS!    :eek:

Forgive me, please, for my assumption    :readit:     :knothead:

The amazing thing about Pat's bowhunting for hogs is that he sends photos like this to a few of us ALL THE TIME.  Pat takes big hogs with his bow on a very regular basis.  I'm not kidding.  If he added the photos of the two spotted hogs he shot less than a week before this one they would rival it in size.  Pat kills big hogs frequently.  That's why Rod Jenkins and I and others call him a hog's worst nightmare.
