My 10 year old daughter just announced she wants a "wood" bow for Cristmas. She wants an R&D profile longbow (like Dads). She has been shooting for some time now. I'm sure she could handle 20-30#s at 24". Sent an e-mail to Mad Dog already. Most of what I'm finding on the net that I can afford is solid fiber glass. Anybody out there making a wood youth bow that wont break my bank? Thanks
Zen without realization of the body is empty speculation. If I could only stop dropping the BOW!!!!!!

Give Mike at Maddog a call.  He is a sponsor here, has great prices, makes a great bow and is a heck of a nice guy!

Thanks for the responces. Mike at Mad Dog has already said he cant get it done in time for the holidays. I knew it was late and dont blame him in any way. She and I looked at the Black Rhino line and she is not to fond of them. I think it was the black glass. 10 year old girls can be a bit per-snick-ity. I think she would be just as happy with a "D" style longbow. I just dont have the skills or tools to do this myself. I'll look at Elk ridge. Thanks again

Black Rhino keeps bows in stock especially at Christmas. I think they are the best youth bow on the market.! My opinion.
Give  Chuck Jones a call 618-283-3954
www.bows.net.   You can't go wrong with his bows. They also have a trade back policy when the child is ready for a larger bow.

Don,

I agree with all the above. They are great choices. I do have a new Dryad Pheonix Lite in stock 23#@26"-54". Yew with maple limbs. Great little bow for the money. 250.00. No wait, no down time. Let me know if I can help.
