That is a dandy. I think the buck quality is really going up in Indiana the last few years.

Nice one, Dad!

Usually if I haven't shot a buck by gun season, I know it's going to be tough till the end. But I was telling my wife the other day, this year is different!

Alot ot of rain this year, and extremely late harvest on corn, this could be different!

If your in Indiana, get out there with your bow! It's going to be different! Just look what Dad did! Good shootin, Steve

Man awesome buck.  That's the same bow I have.  Now I know the bow can get it done, just need to make it happen.  Congrats!

This is Dennis's dad on his computer. I got on my stand at 6:40a.m. I like to get in my stand early. I don't use a light so no one knows where I am. But I can tell where everyone else is.

About 7:45 someone shot over the hill from me. Ten minutes later my buck and three does came out of a holler to my left. He stopped at eight yards and I couldn't help myself I had to shoot him.

He ran about 20 yards to my right and then down a side holler. I wish just one time they would run toward the truck and not down a holler.

It took me a hour and a half to get him where I could get my truck to him. He weight about 240 when I started to drag him but gained a couple hunderd lbs. by the time I got him to the truck.

Nice buck, I had to laugh about the deer gaining weight. Kick that whipper snapper of a son in the butt for me when you can.   :biglaugh:
