Mr. Billy Shipp, a great friend to just about everyone on this site had some luck, please join me in congrats!      :clapper:          :clapper:          :clapper:    

For those of you who don't know Billy he is a fantastic person, one of those Trad Gang kind of guys who would give you the shirt off his back.  He hunts very hard in an area where hogs are plentiful but a good shot at a deer is hard to come by.  He made a perfect shot (I did some creative editing of the entrance wound)on this deer with his new Tall Tines recurve.

Hopefully Billy will step in and expand, he's kind of shy and I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this on his behalf!      :(

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Way to go man, tender young venison, should be great on the barbecue! Looks like your season is going fine. I have yet to connect, missed a doe a couple of weeks ago!
