What is the minimum weight for hogs that all you guys would use?

Use whatever weight you shoot best. Most hogs aren't that hard to penetrate. The exception would be if you run into one of those huge old boars with a 2" shield and that's about like running into a Boone and Crockett buck... it can happen, but it isn't likely.

After my shoulder surgery I was using a 45@26 bow with no issues. Even took a couple large hogs with that setup.

Now I am back up to around 55# and this is more than enough for the rooters around here.

A well tuned setup with sharp broadhead and good shot placement will get them everytime.

Remember aim low and forward!

Some times the uneventful nights are just as good if not better than the eventful ones

shot placement with a RAZOR sharp, cut on contact, broadhead...
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

Chris Surtee's above has said all that needs to be said. Low and forward with a sharp bh will do the job everytime.

Yeap make sure that you know the vitals for hogs, here is a pretty good page for that  http://www.texasboars.com/anatomy.html.
Ask me about CTO.

As long as you aren't planning to hunt mature boars, you can get by with mid 40s.  I normally hunt with a 48@27 straight longbow, and shoot through most eating sized hogs.  I would keep a two blade in your quiver, and be very picky about shot placement on a big boy.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!
