Thanks guys!

JC - I used Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing software, I sold all of photography gear to get into this video taping and spent more than I should have  :D  I used a Canon GL2 for the camera... the quality of the deer during the shot is not the greatest because I had the camera set to wide angle not knowing where exactly he was going to come in from and I used the editing software to crop in a bit.

Longbow Jake - The song is "This Time" by Kutless (they are a Christian Rock band).

It is a real pain lugging around the extra gear for video taping, each year I swear my pack is going to be lighter but each year it seems to get heavier! I don't think I'll hunt without a video camera very often anymore though... I know that using the gear will probably cost me a deer or two down the road, but being able to play the morning over and over again is just way too cool!

Thanks again guys!

Very nice video, congrats on a beautiful shot and lots of good eats in the freezer!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Kevin,

That is an awesome video!  Thanks for sharing it with us.  You don't have to justify the harvest of small bucks; the trophy is in the eye of the hunter.  You did a great job and harvested an animal with a quick clean kill.  Enjoy the meat and the memories.

Thanks again for sharing your hunt with us,
Neil

question.  Did you have two cameras going?  How did you get the shot of you drawing? Or, did you re-inact the draw and edit in?

Nicely done.
