I have killed two bucks this season. They worked great. BIG holes on both sides. I used a block file sharpener and touched them on to my strop and they are nice and sharp. I did make a chisle point on the tip also. Bob and Jan Mayo are GREAT people to deal with. you will like the heads. Good luck.

I have them. Not had the chance to shoot a deer yet, but they fly great and sharpen up perfectly.

x2 for me. I switched from 160gr Ribteks to the 160gr Aces this past summer. Only game I've taken with them has been a hog and a rabbit, but they did their job very well on both meats.

I'm trying them this year also. Haven't shot a deer yet but they fly great and they sharpened very easy.

This is compliments of the big ace heads.
Oct 1st. and Oct 29th.

The last picture shows the off side hole on the buck from the 29th. The ACE heads are very good and tuff.

I do now. I just clamped the shaft of the arrow in my wood vice and stroked the tip with my big mill file, from both sides.

This is my practice head that has been into the dirt a few times. notice the rock dings. It is still close to poppin the hair of my arm tho.

I've been shooting the Ace Express 165 gr for a few years and they are in my quiver again this year.  I like the extra width and straight edges of the Express.  It is the same head as Chuck shows in his pics, except I put a tanto type point on mine.  Great heads that have served me well.

I was gonna do a tanto but the chisle was easier for me. I started doing that years ago and have never had one fail or curl on a solid hit. Then again, I do not remember hitting anything but ribs. I did get this last arrow busted off on the off side shoulder/leg bone. I will go looking for it after church Today. we will see if the tip held up.
Rick, I sent a fella to you looking for some heavy wood arrows/shafts.
