Has anybody tried one of these stands? They look like a similar setup to the Chippewa wedge lock stands. Any thoughts appreciated Thanks, Greg

TTT, I just started looking at these stands and was looking for some info as well...Mike

Hill Hunter

I bought one last year, great stand easy to hang comfortable enough to hunt all day.
Ps 8:3 ¶ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

I bought the Hawk (Raptor series)last year and I thought it was the easiest stand to hang and was very stable. They had trouble with the talon strap and sent me a new one, but the first one worked fine.
Very well built compared to the stands that I usually get on sale at the end of the season.

Ethical Redneck

I've been using a LW alpha hang-on with the ez-hook straps and screw in tree steps for the last 4 years with good results.  I own some summit deer decks and had a climber.  I just don't like their stands.  I think they are too noisy for the amount you pay for them.  I know they have a strong following but i cannot understand why when there are much better stands.  I think the chippewa is probably the best stand on the market.  You only need one hand to install.  Also, summit and now lw are made in china.
