I was curious if anybody uses 3 different colored feathers on their arrows. I had some oddball colors and decided to use them for setting up. I used yellow, orange and pink. When I shot the first time it was so easy to see the arrow. I dont know if I was concentrating more because they were different or not, but I might just have to stay with it...Roy

I use three of the same flou.yellow.on my target arrows if one comes off don't matter what color goes on .To each their own if works for you use it.

Ive seen Red White and Blue used pretty often. All solid colors as well. Just do it.....

I made this set for myself. Every crown has a different color, every crest is a different combination of colors, and every arrow has three different fletch colors.

Try it out with some fletch-tape.
If you don't care for it, it's not hard
to remove the fletches. Be neat to see
the colours merge into something else as it spins(?)

Grey, Those are some sweet looking arrows..

I liked it because when I shot in the sun and then in the shade atleast one of the colors showed up great. I shot into the leaves and grass both and they stood out, easy to find....Roy

Thanks, Roy.
I made these because I've made so dang many dozens of arrows where all 12 are exactly the same, one to another, all the same...I cracked.
I decided to make a set for myself where every arrow was different but it would be obvious that they were all in the same set.

I forgot about these. Made them a couple years ago for a friend that said, "surprise me." His little daughter calls them the Sunshine Arrows. Black, yellow, and orange fletching.

Been doing it for years. Yellow barred cock feather up and the hens depend on what size arrow I'm using.red/white 2018,orange/yellow 2020, blue/white 2219, yellow/white 2216. That way I can have several sizes in my back quiver and pull the right one when I need it.

All my flu flu arrows use 4 diff colored feathers since I just use my leftover feathers for them,  besides I only use bright colors so they really show up good, also really look cool spinning to the target.

Grey Taylor, those look like the should be in a Crayola box 8^).   Colorful for sure.

I have done it but only when running low on feathers. But it sure can be can look good.

Falk

I mostly use 3x the same feather, though often spliced from two colors. But three different colors have a better chance to show up in gras or leaves for sure. Thats the reason I made this "flag pole" in three colors also  ;)

Grey, I think your crayon arrow set is damn pretty. I also enjoyed your Sauerkraut ambitions  :D
