well another year is almost gone xmas is almost here.looking for some insite currently shooting rec .getting the itch for a longbow any suggestions on alongbow that wont break my wallet but at the same time is well built and what do i look for ,my draw is 26ish current weight is 46 .also does the over all length matter for a26in draw

ka

Best place is to look for some of the used bows for sale on this site! Your shorter draw length means that (according to the bowmakers specs) you are able to shoot a shorter Longbow than some one with a longer draw. Not many people drawing 30" could shoot a 56" Longbow without considerable stacking. But you could at 26". Although usually the longer bows tend to draw and shoot smoother it seems!!

Chub,
What part of Pa ya from? There are more than a few very good bowyers out here in the Southwest part of the state. PM me for suggestions.
I've learned that walk in the woods with my father as a child did wonders for me as an adult.
