After shooting my Sheepeater (Miss Faith 09), all summer. I finally am taking her hunting.  It took me a bit to adjust to the short length, and a few pointers from Brent got me tuned in.   I have been shooting AD Trad lites and Heritage 150's they are flying flat and hitting hard.

Wow the 3rd on is really nice looking. Glad that I don't have any money or I would want it.
Ask me about CTO.

Sheldon,
I've got the twin (Hope) to Badger Arrow's Miss Faith and I draw 29" and have pulled it to my ear with no noticable stack. These are very smooth bows! It was very suprising to me for a 50" bow.

Very nice Mike, I got all excited when I saw this post,I thought mine might be in there.Thats OK I know I'm getting close. Dan

Brent Rudolph

Dan, you are getting close. Bob thanks for posting. I appreciate that you are enjoying the bow. It was a pleasure talking to you. Again Sheldon, the force draw curve has been reported  by Pete Ward on his website and Blackie in TBM. The static tips compress the bow late in the draw changing the string angle and acting as a lever more or less to aid in the draw dynamics. I think you will find Bob's assessment at 29" is good. I have had a guy with a true 31.5" draw shoot one. It drew a crowd.

NICE!  I especially like the second one with the black glass on the belly.  Looks real good behind the riser wood.

Nice shelf too Mike....   :bigsmyl:

Brent, how do you think those bows would hold up to regular/heavy shooting at that draw?  I'm  about 32" but been trying to shorten up a bit.
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Brent Rudolph

Dave,

I honestly havent done extensive research on extended shooting at that draw length. If you had ever met me, you would understand.........I do good to get to a 27" draw. I can say without reservation that the new Shamen will handle your needs.

Greetings Brent!

Have an awesome day!

Impressive Mike! Is Jason building bows too. Tell Jason I'm gonna loan a friend the vine back quiver since he thinks arrows should be taken over the shoulder. I started him out two or 3 weeks ago when he retired. I think he's getting hooked.
Good luck, good hunting, and God bless!

Mudd,

Yep Jason and I work full time at it these days.  Really nice working side by side everyday with your son.  I'll tell him about the quiver, he'll be pleased that it's in the field doing what it was built for.
