Well....new to me....sorta.  Photo is taken in one of my favorite spots...the foot of the rocks on Buffalo Mountain, about 100 yards from the top.  It's a nice bench that the deer like to travel on.

One of my natural blinds.

Very nice George!! Nice ground blind and great bow. Always like seeing the old Bear bows out in the field.

Leaves changing there yet?

Watch out for snakes around all those rocks!!

You need to ride up here for a day John, and we will take a walk up in those rocks 8^).  There are some around, but in 45 years of moseying about in that area, I've never came across any.
You definitely need to be smart about placing your feet though 8^).

George, whats the model and specs of that bow in the photos?     thanks ron w

George, bought one new in the box in 1984, from an old Bear dealer. Same weight and everything you have in that one. Does it still have the orange sticker, with info on the rest adjustment?

Sure miss her, thanks for sharing, Good shootin Steve

George D. Stout

This one doesn't have the sticker.

George, When we bought our camp up there they told us there were only snakes on one side of the road.....the OTHER side.

In all these years we've never seen one yet!!

Wouldn't mind having a bow just like that one George... only ten pounds heavier and 2" longer. (Guess that's not really "just like" that one.
 :D

Had a black one back in the eighties with a set of 75# and 80# Paul Shafer made limbs. Awesomely fast!!

I had several of those and loved each one.. I did have some bad luck with a couple, limbs broke while I was at full draw.. They were used and I have no idea how they were treated in their earlier life..
I see Brandon is making some replacement limbs now, also a riser.. Wish he had stayed closer to the original design on the riser..
        Really nice bow George...

I bought an "A" handle, with #1 limbs in 1972 and still have it.That bow has always felt good in my hand and shoots as good as any custom bow I have owned. It is one of those keepers that I just can't sell.

I think Bear made a mistake, discontinuing that one.

George D. Stout

I'll keep an eye out Charlie.  They show up with number three limbs occasionally.

There were alot of good things that came from 1972.

Georges` new bow, and my little brother.

A '72 Chevy pickup was pretty good too.

Nice bow George.
