Well, I have a bone to pic with Larry of Lost Nation Archery.  Here he sent me these wonderful feathers and nocks to finish up my chundoo shafts and the shaft breaks!
Here's before

And see what happens when I put his feathers on?

Rocks

Damn arrow hey! I expect we'll see pictures of what broke that arrow soon?

So there I was minding my own business up in a tree enjoying the pretty fall foliage. (you can see better that way)

And here comes a doe.  I stand up and get ready as she is about 30yds out.  Luckily I stood up quickly as no sooner than I move my Widow into position a different doe appears coming straight at me!

She turns at literally 10 yards and the 125gr glue on Snuffer makes very short work of her.

She bounds off a little and stands there.  She gets wobbley and walks another bit and falls over.  She went 40 whole yards and I watched it all from my stand.

Perfect shot tight behind the shoulder. (it ought to be that close!)  Huge gash thru the heart and both lungs.

I used my newly aquired Black Widow PSA II 56@28(I pull 30), 31" chundoo shafts from Bill Carlsen that I laquered last weekend and fletched last night.

Good times and meat in the freezer!

I have been getting a DNA rush with deer for over half a century; and still getting a shot at a doe and making it work is a great thing.
***MAN! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THE EARS ON THAT ONE!**
Congrats on your shot; your deer; and its just to bad that arrow couldn't work without breaking  :)
