Love these shafts! I have gone to the 4-4" shield or parabolic fletchings and really like how quiet they are. I just finished some arrows made from 80#-85# spine weight Surewoods. With 160gr. tips they came in at 655-660grs. For my 55#@28" Blacktail recurve they are a perfect match.       These shafts are what I call "table top rollers"...when you roll them on a flat surface they don't wobble at all!    :clapper:   But if you find one or two who do need a little attention douglas fir is so easy to straighten and then stay straight.

Surewoods DF are my new gold standard.  I bought a box of 100 earlier in the year and many don't even require any tweeking.

Where can you look at buying them?

Hey snag, where did you get those shafts? That's are sharp looking arra!

I think one of the sponsors on here, Badger Arrows, sells the Surewood Shafts. Or you could call Surewood and ask them where you can buy some.
Thanks PBNJ.
Steve, isn't it great to get a bunch of shafts and find they are actually straight?!!

I like mine.  You can get them online from surewood shafts.

They've worked a fair bit of magic over here, too.

Ron,
I have them cut to 29.5"bop with 160gr tips. My draw length is 28.5"

By the way these are 11/32" shafts at that spine weight.

Brock at Bull Mountain Archery also sells them. They are great shafts and Brock is a great guy to deal with!

Straight, tuff and heavy.  Good shafts.

Surewoods are what wood shafts should be. There is no better wood shafting out there IMO.

I ordered a 100 from them and was so pleased I sent them a letter of appreciation. I don't mind the 23/64 and they are still selling excess inventory 150 bucks for 100 shafts - 50-55 and 55-60 lb spine - good winter project for me - now I need a deal on 300 full length feathers.

Where can you find prefinished shurwood shafts?

Lewis Brookshire III

Bull Mountain Archery will make them to your specs. He is a sponser here.
