Does limb design have a big factor in hand shock ?.. compairing a LB that has a reflex/deflex  design or a "D" shape ?

I've shot HH longbows for 31 straight years. If you grip it wrong it'll shake you cockeyed. So don't grip it wrong. No R/D experience.

Trad is 60% mental & about 40% mental.

A straight limb longbow is more prone to have some handshock, but for me I never noticed that in my Hill's.A dacron string can have a big effect on handshock with a stright limb bow, meaning more handshock. But some guys feel handshock more then others.R/D bows don't usally have any handshock and the R/D design allows for shorter bows then your straight limbed bows.
