Looks GREAT Mike!

I would not want to be an Illinois buck right now.

I can't wait to break mine in come November. Brian does some great work and stands behind his bows.

C'mon guys lets see a few more pics!! I'm interested!!

Gus,

Have you looked at Brian's website? There are a couple of bows pictured.

I should have my new TallTines later this week, and I'll post pics when it arrives.

If you do a search on PowWow for ZIRICOTE, there is a good, close up pic of Brians riser using Ziricote.

The Ziricote riser pic shows Brian's attention to detail very well.

Mike Walker,

Seems there will be a delay in recieving the TallTines bow when expected....several months I'm told, so it may be after the 1st of the year before it's ready.

However, I'll gladly have Brian ship the bow directly to you, providing you send me your new Habu, so I'll have a bow to shoot in the meantime.

How's that sound....BUDDY  (grin)

Very nice indeed, I left you a voice mail Brian.  Welcome aboard.

Mike, I talked to Brian the other day about Billy stealing my riser wood (just kidding!) and he told me he thinks he makes the LH grips better than the righties...you can't ask for more than that

buckster

Well, I just got off the phone and placed my order for a TallTines recurve.  6-8 weeks till my baby arrives.  Can't wait, and I'm glad that Brian makes them LEFTY grips so nicely!

Buckster, you are going to get a really nice lefy because I beet you by one day in placing my order and seeing I am a lefty also Brian can have one more lefty to work on before he gets to yours.

I got my Talltines right before deer season started and as bad as I want to shoot it some, I'm not a good enough shot to be switching around right before season starts  :-(

It sure is a good looking bow and is made very well. The riser doesn't fit my hand very well but Brian offered to change it to suit me.

I'm anxious to get to it!

Herdbull,

Thanks for posting the riser pics so everyone can see a close up of Brian's work.

The Bubinga rightie is very nice, but man oh man, that leftie is just drop dead gorgeous with the wild grain pattern....wonder who the lucky stiff is getting that one?

Herdbull

Can you say billy from the republic of Texas!

Hey Billy.....aren't you suppose to be at work!  :knothead:

Hi Tim,

Yeah....I should have worked today, but it flooded all morning, so I threw down the sick card, and the boss, (Miss Paula) bought it.

I suddenly started feeling better and bout have her talked into letting me spend the afternoon in the woods.

It's sure nice to have a gal that loves ya (:

Billy,

Is your new bow supposed to look something like this?

Steve O,

Thanks for posting the picture.

I saw the Ziricote riser picture you posted several months ago, and knew that was the riser wood I wanted.

I had no idea what limb veneers would go best with the riser, so I pretty much left that up to Brian. He said he had some really nice Kingwood veneers, and thought they would look good with the riser.

Personally, I don't see how it would have been possible to do a better job on matching the veneers to the riser.

Hopefully the bow will be here Friday, then I can see if it shoots as good as it looks, and I'm thinking it will do just that.

Awesome job Brian

Thanks, Billy
