Could any of the members comment on these bows? I'm looking for pros or cons relating to quality and how smooth are they? Thank you for any info.

Rick, i have a fox royal crown longbow. i have no cons at all. Very nice craftsmanship, smooth drawing, quiet, and fast.

Funny, you specifically mentioned the two most outstanding characteristics of Ron's work. There is no finer craftsmanship, and his bows are one of the few that handle a long draw length without a bit of trouble. Many advertise that ability, few deliver.

I was very loyal Fox man for several years. Have had or shot more than I can remember. I would recommend the Royal Crown or Triple Crown. They are sort of the "crowning" bow of the line-up.

I currently shoot a Fox longbow and have owned 2 others. They are among the smoothest and quietest I've shot. The finish and quality is first rate. I have bought or traded for all of mine here in the classifieds. great bows for the price.

One of the most stupid things I ever did was sell my Fox R/C.  It was an awesome bow.  The proprietor of the shop here in Melbourne - who bought it off me - still has it on display.  He won't shoot it or sell it - just uses it for people to gaze at - go figure.

I have tried to beg, scrounge, threaten and wrestle it from his vice-like grasp - however he will not part with this bow.

With the exchange rate and other things I can't afford to buy another one - so I will always rue the day I sold this gorgeous bow.

It was the only trad bow I got a robin hood with - and that was after owning it for a day.  the rest of the time I had busted up nocks and feathers.

I would not hesitate to buy one of these masterpieces.

I've got at Fox Breed 'curve and it is one of the finest out there.  At my draw length of 27", it draws about 45# and needs 60-65 POC's to fly well. The bow loads quickly and is very quiet and accurate.  Fit and finish are top shelf, for sure.

I have a Royal Crown on order...Feb. birthdate! I had the opportunity to shoot one this summer. It was smooth and quiet. Great craftsmanship as others have said. I love supporting those Oregon bowyers too!
