So that was the pic that was sent to my phone that I could not open / see ??? Ya best be callin me next time the Voodoo Child speaks !!!

Awesome, congrats Alex ! What was on the end of the arrow, a WW ? What happened to the head that spined her ? Any pics of the head damage, if any ? Did the shaft break ?

Rob, I will probably miss my shot too, if I get one soon ? Remember to bend at the waist when shooting out of a tree and not simply drop your bow shoulder. Doing the shoulder drop and not bending at the waist will cause a high shot everytime. Just about every deer I have shot has been on the high side, never hit one too low or ever shot under one. I know this is your first time shooting out of a tree so get you a 3D on a sled with wheels and have Jules pull it around the yard at different ranges and fetch arrows while you practice at your climbing height. Yes, you will owe her a nice dinner for helping ya !

Super.  Nice follow up shot.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks everyone. Sorry I forgot the equipment details. 64" 52@29, cedar, woodsman, 8 strand D97.

Jimmy,
The spine shot got good penetration and was lost in the dirt. I'd love to see it, but don't really care. They're great heads.

Alex,

Way to go. A trad kill in East TN is a REAL accomplishment. There are deer but you have to do your homework. My hat's off to you. I'll be out this week on a little farm over in Rockford where I have permission.
