Mike, they both came to the guides cow calls. I saw a few other bulls and heard more. It was an interesting hunt. I've never hunted them much before.

I like close shots too, but 5 yrds and 8 feet from a moose...  

You would have had better penetration at a little further distance than 8 feet. Ha! Did Dale and Darryl go with you guys?

    Denny, finally found a critter taller than you!  How many freezers did you need? Those are huge animals.  Glad I don't have to drag them out ot the highway.

Denny, you need to make up some drama here.  Instead of eight feet, it should read "And there I was, the shot looked to be about 96 --- and it took him through the lungs".  Best shot I ever made!

Most everyone will think in steps instead of inches.

Congrats!!!! Man that would be awesome to stalk a moose!! Just going through the terrain they live in would be wild and getting my butt kicked by the elements. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.     Someday....
