The bow on the left is a Holcomb copy of a '59 Kodiak Special, (I think?).  The bow on the right is a '59 Kodiak Special.
I've never seen a Kodiak Special w/ the larger grip riser. Mr Holcomb did a fine job in crafting the bow. Wenge & purple heart, deeeep looking gloss finish.  One of the best shooters I've ever owned.
Just wondering if anyone has seen an actual Bear with that grip?

Tom Phillips

I have never seen or heard of a factory Bear Kodiak Special with grip like the E.B.HOLCOMB.I have 2 bows Ed (a close personal friend) has crafted for me along with 2 bows he made for my 25 yr. old twins B-day this past Monday !!!
