Has anyone used these, its a nock that twist onto the string and acts like helical to my understanding...

Thanks,
Thomas

I used the turbo nock when they first came out, with those you had to use a drop away rest on a compound.
I would think with a well tuned bow and arrow combo, a nice helical, you shouldn't need it.

The T-4 doesn't have the vanes on them.  They're just the nock with the angle cut in the slot.  I just happened to pull some of them out and tried them for the first time with trad equipment last week. WOW...  :scared:  cut my group about in half, very noticeable difference.
The only bad thing about them is you can't use 'em with left wing feathers. Just wish I could get some to fit my AD's.

any one else, i figured they would really hold a broadhead straight in flight if they increased the spin

You don't have to use a drop away rest with the turbo 4. They said specifically you could shoot it out of a recurve. It looks pretty cool, there was a penetration test that showed 10in more penetration with the turbonock vs regular nock. I might just get some seeing as I shoot rw feathers, (note the arrow was no slower impact point was 1/2in up at 30yards form other arrow) the main reason being penetration and stability benifits. If I can lower my fletch height even better because then the arrows would be quieter.
