I was bored last night and started playing...I started with a piece of 1820 shaft and some split shot. I put a tip in the insert and slid the shaft on, heated the shot and filled the shaft. After it cooled I took the shaft off of the lead and did a little filing so it fit snug in my CX shaft. I drilled a small hole in the lead and screwed it to the insert. The wife is still looking at me like I'm crazy     :D   . I dont know what I'm going to do with it but it was fun        ....Roy

I did find something to do with it. I cut it down to different weights for testing up front weight. I can now do 230gr and 200 gr up front without having to waste the money on brass or heads for something that doesnt work...Roy
