Just bought a 41# falcon off classifieds from Insttech1 (great transaction!). I am looking for arrow suggestions. I would like to shoot carbons and have Gold Tips and Carbon Express available locally. I'm drawing 28.5". I plan to fletch with 4-5" feathers. I am open to any reasonable weight combinations out front. Thanks for all the great info.

I would try the Gold Tip 35/55 and let it 30" long.  With those you can probably get by with 145 to 200 grains up front.  Thumpin' carbons are so inherently stiff that you really need to try shooting one or two.  Frankly you will be needing a spine in the neighborhood of .600 for that length and draw, when using a 125'ish grain head.

Cherokee Scout

Gold Tip Entrada 600 or Gold Tip 1535. Both are .600 spine.

Kodiak Mag 52" 41 lb.
Kota Kill-Um 60" 42 lb.
Kanati 58" 38 lb.
Black Hunter Longbow 60" 40 lb.

I'm shooting a #41 Bob Lee TD Longbow. The combo I've come up with is : Gold Tip 3555, 29" (draw is 28); gray weight tube from 3 Rivers,26"; 125 grain 2-blade broadhead or WW;3 fletch, 4" RW shield. This bow also likes 2016 aluminums.

I concur with George and John, a .600 spine carbon should be the ticket for you.

The Carbon Express 20/40 we carry in addition to the GT 15/35 and Entrada would all fit the bill.
