John Kolometz!  He is a great hunter, yet I have never seen him here.  Any explanations?

The last I heard or saw of him he was living in Zanesville, but that was 6 years ago.He is a a fine bowyer and hunter.

Justin, how you doing? Hope well and ready for deer hunting! You might pm Denny Sturgis Jr., he use to shoot John's bow back in the '80s. and I think they were over 100lbs! Good shootin, Steve

I know nothing of him, but have 2 of his bows-excellent shooters.  I've heard that he only used locally available woods in his bows.  I believe he's covered in "Traditional Bowyers of America"

I was just always impressed with all the big bucks that he and Bill Meyer killed near Zanesville.  Always wondered why those guys never showed up on this site.
