I finally have pics and a story, from my 3rd trip to Wyoming, chasing Antelope, and, since we went the first of Sept., Muley does!!!  We started our trip, leaving mid Mo., heading for Sidney, Neb., so we could hit Cabela's, and Dude's, a nice little spot in downtown Sidney, for supper!!!  If you're ever in Sidney, find Dude's, cuz, Dude, you'll go nuts over thier Prime Rib and Mountain Oysters!!!!!!  Some cold drinks hit the spot as well...Sorry about the poor cell phone pic, but I was busy EATIN!!!!

We left Sidney early enough the next morning to arrive in camp around noon, time enough for an evening hunt!!!  Here's some muley bucks...And, for some strange reason, I passed a 15 yd shot on a nice muley doe, but heck, I had all week!!!

The next morning, I ended up with a nice shot at a fat "goat" doe, and clipped the bottom of her bleedin' heart!!!  Happiness is a Ray Charles Bloodtrail!!!!
Not hard to follow her!!!

Yea, I know, I shot a wee bit low....lol.

She ran about 120 yds, stopped, staggered and fell...9am, time to go to work!!!

I got her skinned and hung in the walkin cooler (nice!!!) Then back to hunting til dark!!
That evening, I had a nice fat muley doe come to water, so made another good shot, watched her run off.  My P poor flashlight, I finally found blood, but couldn't really follow a trail, so left her til morning, and walked right to her...Problem is, I didn't get any pics of my first ever Mule deer, dangit!!!!  I know, no excuses...I'll get a pic next time!!!
So, in place, I'll show ya some of the new "Countryside" that is cropping up!!!

Bobcat pic..almost dark!!

After getting the muley doe in the walkin, I went to another spot, where I'd set up a Double Bull blind...Did you know, that when it's only 84 outside the blind, that inside, on the south side where my shoulders were hitting, it hovered at 104 for about 3 hours!!!???!!!! So, I hunted in shorts, Under Armour heat gear shirt, and stockin feet!!!

And played ALOT of video poker, hunting daylite til dark...bout drove me crazy loosin all that fake money!!!

The goats didn't like the blind at first, several groups held up out of my range...Sure wish I could shoot as good as me Widder, eh!

Some eventually make it inside 25 yds, but barely!

I like the old "clanky" kind of windmills better, don't you???!!!

My favorite pic, after a fast moving, lightning bangin' storm blew thru, that even started a couple of fires.

And, with the week closing in on me, with a buck tag still in me hand, I sat the DB blind the last morning, with the last sunrise.....

And, since I missed one darn good buck, middle of the week, shot right over his back....I ended up with the smallest in camp, again, but nobody was any happier!!!  Nothin wrong with a nice meat goat on the last day!!!!

6 hunters, 19 dead critters, yup, we made some meat!!!  3 really nice bucks, lots of laughs, great food, drinks, and friends, I can't wait to go back!!!!

Oh, here's another poor cell phone pic of the supper I cooked for the Wife last nite...Fried eggplant, and "Catfish Tenders" from the goat and muley doe....And what very well coulda been the last Budlite left in the cooler...lol!!!

I got a kick out of this one. My Uncle Leo Cunningham had an old farm and sheep ranch out in the near community, and when we were youngens, we took vacations to visit him.
Course he'd put us to work digging out the irrigation system.
Seems to me that old bachelor kept a pretty close eye on us, specially if we got too close to rattlers or them young sheep.

Favorite sheep joke punchline.

Congrats man that is awesome.  I leave for Wyoming chasing deer and antelope in one week from today!!  Hopefully I have some of the luck you had on this trip.

Great hunt! I'm headed to ND in three weeks with a muley doe tag and an either-sex, either species deer tag. Cabin fever bigtime!!

Bowferd, my favorite sheep joke punchline is the one regarding the traditional clothing of the Scotsmen- they spook at the sound of a zipper.
