Ok guy's here's the deal, tommorrow I turn a whopping 43 and in my old age I've come to realize that we need to do everything we can to keep our heritage alive, so here is what I would like to do. I have a 58" and 35@28 RH Bear Grizzly recurve I'd like to pass onto a deserving youngster. I have a 12 year old and he is set for bows so I'd like to help out a less fortunate kid. On monday I will take all the names that have posted and have my son draw one out of a hat, I will then send the bow to the winner. All that I ask is that you post a pic of the lucky kid with the bow and if they outgrow it to pass it along. Thanks for taking the time out to pass along our heritage.

Bow is on the far right.

That is a super kind thing to do.

Please put my neighbor's daughter Christina on the list.

This would be perfect for my daugther. Jordan. She wants to go out with us all the time but brother and I are left handed and she is right handed. This would fit her for a few years .

Thanks for the chance
Sean
If today was perfect, There would be no need for tomorrow

Fantastic, truly.  Your bow would fit my 11 year old son Nick perfectly.  Thank you for the chance.

Just for info I have done the same thing and this year I gave away a total of 3 bows to adults and 1 to a youth. It seems as we grew older we look back at all the fun we had over the years with archery and we want to pass this on to a new generation of archers. I also had a bad habit of every year I went to denton hill I just had to come home with a new to me bow, it could be a brand new and or a good used bow... so my bows in the house was up to over 12 recurves and 1 long bow. I am now on the down side of 9. I also send a lot of items to our guys in Irak to start there bow club. I again wish we all could also strive to just start one new archer per year, if you are working with a single Mom that has a child that would like to learn about the outdoors. Take them out for the day and maybe this could be the next archer. Last year I was able to start 2 new boys in archery. I am still working on one for this year...

Throw my son in if you would, the little guy in my avatar.  He ain't that little anymore and his 20 lb bow is lacking, needs to be passed down to his next bro in line.

Whoever gets it, congrats!  and thanks a ton for the opportunity!  shoot straight,  Dan
