I need to give some positive information.   If this is not the forum, I apologise in advance, still new.

I bought a bow here from Stickpig.

He was very kind and patient with me during the process, and answered many questions.

You see, I am new here, this is my first trad bow,and I purchased the bow the 2nd day after I joined.

Anyway, bought a Supermag 48 40# @ 28 for what seemed like a reasonable price for this fine bow based on the fact that shipping and ins. was also included in the price.
Well, I received the bow yesterday.  It is in great shape, looked good was surprisingly light and drew back just like I had envisioned.  I think it will make an excellent stand/20 yd bow.

Now, let me back track.   I recalled in one of the many emails that I had relayed to Mr. Stickpig that I was new.
So.....when I opened the WELL packed box, he had seen fit to include a bow stringer, an arm guard, a nice "case" for the bow, 3 wood arrows and a string that was in good shape.
At no extra charge.

This is why I was attracted to this site, you see....
You folks on here seem truly interested in seeing someone succeed and enjoy archery (oh yes, I joined other sites, with less than "cordial" results)
Thanks Stickpig, for a good transaction, and for being generous.
Thanks Tradgang folks, for being approachable, kind, reverent, knowledgeable, and willing to sharge.
I look forward to the new friends I make here.

God bless ya'll,

Farmer

Yep, good folks here. Knock on wood, I've never had a bad dealing on the 'Gang. Sounds like you're off to a good start.

BTW, whereabouts are you in Virginia? I used to live in Fishersville and guided fly fishing in SNP.

Nice area. I'm going down to Callaway in October to hunt with some buddies. There, then over to Highland Co., and finishing up over in Nelson Co. next to Wintergreen. Man, I miss it down there come deer season.

VaFarmer, I agree this is a great site and I myself had good results with everyone so far...Every once in a blue moon we might see a wolf try to sneak in and take a sheep or two but the Mods are like shepperds and gather the flock together and they take out the big bad wolf...We watch each others back here so to speak...  :archer:  God Bless and welcome friend...Keefer's <")))><

I just joined not to awful long ago and all I can say is you hit the nail on the head. Seem to be a great bunch of guys here and like you I hope to make some new friends here as well.
Nice choice on the Bow by the way, I'm shooting the 48" super mag 45# @ 28" and I love it. I'm in the process of trying some different string materials on my set up to see what shoots the best. Matter of Fact Got a new one from a tradganger in the Mail today can't wait to get it all tuned in and see the final results!
Good luck and good hunting, Kris
