Just bought a Cougar and have a couple questions.  It is 62" and just curious what the string length is on these.  Also wondering about arrows.  It is 35 @ 28 and I draw 28 1/2+, would a 35-55 work or should I go with the 15-35?  Would like to keep the arrow weight around 300-350 gr.  Thanks,  Nuray

58" string eay.  I would have thought 59", but that is the reason I asked I guess.  What point weight do you think on those 15-35's?

nurayb

anybody else wanna chime in?

trapperDave

its gonna depend on too many variables. best to get a couple of each point wgt you can find and bareshaft

trapperDave

or get the point wgt youre gonna shoot, then start with a full lentgh shaft and cut it a 1/4" at at a time till it tunes.

My son shoots a 35# Cougar. If you have a string on it, I would make sure that the bow is braced correctly. Remove the string, pull it tight and measure from inside loop to inside loop. Let the stringmaker know what it comes to. If you can not do this, let me know and I'll unstring his and measure for you. He uses Beman MFX 500's and the fly well.

No string, that's why I asked.  Is his the 62"er?
