How did you build them to get to that weight?

I can find a 42gr adaptor and a 5gr brass washer.......and team it with a 125gr. glue-on.

Just wondering how you got to 175gr.

The 160 and 190 grainers that many have been asking for are now up on the 3R and Woodsman websites.  Some of us may have to put our money where our mouths were.

I know I need something 175gr.  I appreciate the heads up, Don....but they're too light.  I can make a woodsman up that'll be 167gr.....and that's what I guess I'll do if I go that route.  I was wondering if anyone is shooting a woodsman at +/- 175gr....and how you got to that weight.

Try using woodyweights, I use the 200gr and they fly great.www.woodyweights.com

Jeff, I use GT's. You can buy internal weights that screw into the backside of the inserts but I think the lightest one is 10 grains? I think your idea with the 5 grain washer is about as close as you can get.
Is your bow that sensitive to 5 grains?

I just checked the 3Rivers site they show 175 grain woodsmans.

which non vented will have the size of the originals? Can ask them straight I guess 0 be easiest.

The screw-in 175 grains and up will be non-vented and have the original specs of the Woodsman.

The glue-on 160 grain and up will be non-vented and the original specs of the Woodsman also.

The older alluminum long adaptors would weigh in at about 52 - 54 grains I would use them in the regular 125 glue on woodsman

Jeff, what do you mean? 175gns is 175 gns. Razorcaps come in 100, 125, 150, 175, and 200 gn. I know Blackwidow has them all. one blade and differant weight ferrules. a really neat way to try various weights. Ive had great luck with the 175 and 200 gn configurations. With short/long aluminum adapters and 75, 100 125 steel ones you canmake them about any weight you want.  I'm shooting 225 gr.
