Me and 2 buddies are thinking about some time after late january heading to the sunshine state to bowhunt porkers. Anybody got any prefference on a location, public or private, that we could get into some good populations?
its me, against me.

Randy, I hunted on a place by Lake Okeechobe several years ago that had a lot of hogs and the name of which escapes me at the moment.  It was a private guided hunt.  Biggie or Marty would be 2 good people to PM about options, I think a lot of it depends on where in Florida you are going to be.  I can look up the name of the place I went to if you want, let me know. Last April I hunted hogs and Oceola turkey with Dave Mills 863-990-9087. $100 for 1st hog then $50 for all others, they have a local butcher that proceses for $50 a hog. He's got alot of hogs! all private but no accomodations as of yet, we stayed in Sarasota about 45 min. away
