LURP DOG

I just received my new bow (used but new to me WHIP) and I'm in need of some new arrows because my new bow is a little heavier in draw weight.
I'm currently using 2016 on my older bow (58", 46# @ 28") but my new one (62", 52# @ 28") I believe I'll need either 2018, 400s or 55/75.
My question is where can I a 1/2 dozen arrows at a good price and good service on the internet?
My local shops deal mostly in wheelies so they only carry vanes on their arrows.

Badger arrow is who i get mine from.  They have great service.  i have also bought from 3 rivers and kustom king with good results.  All of them are sponsors here, and all build good arrows.  There are other sponsors here that do as well, but these i have personal experience with. Hope this helps.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

These run $47.99 a half dozen, the 45/60 is a .400 spine.  I'm sure Paul at Badger or any of the sponsors here can help you out fine too.

I have some ordered from Badger and Paul has been extremely helpful, I look forward to seeing the arrows he's making me.

Hunting with the bow and arrow involves earning your way by making meat, getting your hands messy in the process and then recognizing your own reflection upon them.

I generally buy most of my arrows here in the classifieds, lol. I fletch my own however, so I also buy arrows when they are one sale locally and then just scrape the vanes off and re-fletch with feathers.

Your 2016's should still work, try playing with the point weight a little to stiffen them up, go a little lighter if you need too. 4 lbs shouldn't make that much difference unless you are right on the threshold of being too weak already, they will get to the target a little quicker. I treat the aluminums the same as carbons to get them flexing right.

Kustom King is about the only place I know that a half dozen can be had for about half the cost of a dozen.  I am mainly referring to carbon shafting.  I don't know why other suppliers don't catch on.  You may not live long enough to need a second half dozen unless you're a really bad shot or prone to taking shots at squirrels in treetops! (nothing wrong with that)

SlowBowinMo,

Is that the price of the arrows as viewed? With wraps and all?

I would think it would be real tough to shoot feathers and not own a fletching jig.  I got that cheap bohning one and love it.  It is really easy to do.

You can buy a half dozen Easton XX75 Camo Hunter aluminum shafting and they usually run $30.50 at Bowhunters Superstore.
