I have a few questions for those with arrow masters.  I am trying to decide on an arrow master or one of two tube quivers.

How long is it and can you draw out a 30-30.5" arrow with broad head with the rain cover on it?

The head end looks to be round, but is the fletching area round or some open shape?  

With the fleece lining can you put in arrows without ruffing up your feathers?

How many target arrows can you fit into it reasonably for target shooting?

About how large is the quiver inside?  I have looked at tube quivers and they are about 3" inside dia.  Is this about the same or larger?

Is the quiver fairly rigid?  Will it make a good gravel carrier for arrows and will it hold it's shape with a few extra pounds of weight in the pockets?

The quiver I have is 32" long on the outside.  Rod makes different hood lengths depending upon your arrow length, so 30.5" will be no problem.  My arrows with Grizzlys on them have no problem and they were around 33" in length, overall.  I got the longer hood.  Pic of the nock end with eight arrows in it with room for more.



I have had no problems with fletchings - easy in and out.  Quiet, too if you are not ramming them.

Inside diameter of the point end of the quiver is 3.75".  Here is a photo of the same eight arrows with field points on them and there is a ton of room.  I did not push the points into the foam for the photo.  I have roamed around the hills with field pointed shafts laying like this and if you don't go head over heels the quiver holds them in just fine.



I carried 6 arrows with broadheads (they were in the foam) during last years hunting season with room to spare.  The ends of the quiver are fairly rigid, especially the point end.  The nock end is slightly flexible but only when squeezed.  The part that lays across your back is flexible to be comfortable and to keep your arrows quiet.  I traveled through sage brush, pines and other trees with very little noise if I was doing my part.

I am not sure what you mean about "a good gravel carrier".  I would think that the pocket (only one) will not deform the quiver no matter what you put in it but too much weight might be bad for the fabric.  I don't know what you intend to carry in it but mine carried my hunting license, stringer, spare glove, GPS and a few other small items and I still had room left over.  I hope that helps.  If you have any other questions, I am sure that myself or others can assist.  The other option would be to give Rod a call - he is very helpful.

I should have mentioned that there is one large pouch /  pocket on the outside of the quiver with an inner pocket that is thin.  Both have zippers.  The inner pocket is where my license and stringer were.  The inside pocket is the place to secure things that you don't want falling out when you open the outside zipper.

I intended to say "travel carrier" for my arrows.  I was wondering if it had good protection for them in with other stuff in the truck.  I would not want all my fletchings mashed down when I arrive to hunt.  

I am mostly concerned with how well it protects fletchings when hunting and traveling.  Is it as good as the dawg ware tube quiver for that?  I have seen those, but not the arrow master.

I always carry my quiver on top of everything else when travelling, no matter the situation or quiver.  The Arrowmaster is somewhat flexible if a lot of weight was put on it but as I said, I don't.  I have not had any feathers mashed up using mine and hunting out of my truck.  It does a great job of protecting them while hunting, too.  The fletching end is fairly stiff unless a lot of weight or squeeze were put on it - the ends hold their shape.  The quiver is about 1/4" thick and somewhere on this forum is a post from last year about the type of plastic material that makes up the core of it.  On top of the core is some padded bucksuede that is pretty water repellant but a long, steady drenching would probably begin to soak in.  Rod posted something about that last year, too.  He was running lots of water on the quiver and mostly it just ran off.  I would suspect that it would still be going when others are done in.  It is a high quality product.

I have not used the Dawgware, so I can't comment on it.  In my opinion and experience, the fletchings are well protected with the Arrowmaster.  Like most other things, both have their fans and preferences.

Great Quiver, I do not go in the woods or on the range with out mine! Buy one, you will not be disappointed, if for some reason you are, you'll be able to sell it in a heart beat in the classifieds but I don't think it will come down to that!

While hunting I take 5 broadhead and 4 judo/blunt arrows everytime!!

Let me say that I got mine today, about an hour and half ago, and I already know that it is the last and for me best quiver and money I ever spent.

I just fond a used one so I will find out soon.
