I just bought my first bow.  It is a PSE Impala recurve 60" with a 50# draw.  It is a takedown model brown with black limbs and it is left handed.

I am soooooo excited.  I am going to start practicing tomorrow, so I can hopefully be ready for Georgia's bow season.  I plan on hunting with a naked bow.

Just wanted to express my joy!     :jumper:

Great Todd- now get out there and kick some butt with it! There isn't a better way to spend some time than flinging arrows. Beats the heck out of flinging golf balls!!!!!

Good start. Bag one and you're hooked for life.

I hope you have many years of fun with your new bow. Don't wear yourself out, that is a respectable poundage! Let 'em fly, and may the arc of a long shot bring you joy, even if you can't find it later.

After just shooting for a few hours, I have learned one thing....the ground can magically eat an arrow.  I have one that I just can't find..

I use my gaff from spoonbill season to find arrows.  If you don't have one just make a hook out of metal and drag the ground with it.  Usually my arrows are within 20 yards of the target when I miss.  Umm I mean if I miss which is almost never he he he.
