Driving 146 miles a day all in Unit 19  :scared:  I have a grill gaurd you can barrow.

Steve O's right you won't have any problems seeing deer.  ;)

Congrats on the job!

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

Nothing like gainful employment to brighten one's outlook.  Rejoice, the recession must be over!

You'll always find time to do the things you love.  Success will be that much sweeter.

Congrats on the job! You are very fortunate to find work in this economy. The weekends are as good a time to hunt as any, just get back in the woods away from the crowds...PR

That is so cool.  This is the toughest time in a couple of generations to be out of work.  Not that any time is ever easy.  I'm glad you pulled through.  Keep your faith.  Keep your priorities.  And hunt when you can.
Take a kid hunting!

Congratulations on the new job. I'm glad that things didn't get too desperate for ya (i.e. you got to keep your toys!).

Dave Bulla

Wow!  Over two pages of congrat's just in one morning!

THAT is part of what I love about this place.  All these guys, most of whom I've never met take the time to say "way to go" or "good for you" and MEAN it.

Funny thing is, now that I've got this job offer, I've got another interview today and one on Thursday too.  When it rains it pours eh?
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

kbetts

Maybe they're closer to home and pay more!

Good to hear You found something Dave. I've not had to get in the bean line yet been getting in 2-4 days a week. Finishing up Our last two jobs in the next couple of weeks.

Drive carefully between home and the new job. Lots of deer on that stretch of road.

Congrats Dave,
I know what you were going through. I have been on the street since November and construction in my neck of the woods isn't going anywhere fast. Hope you get some huntin time in, its a bummer looking forward to the fall knowing you have to work all the time.

hell, Dave, just move on over....Unit 19 can't be a bad place to set up camp.....  :D

Kevin I've thought about it!

I'd go in a heartbeat.  Just point me to about 50 to 100 acres with a fixer upper farmhouse in my price range and I'd be a happy camper.  My wife on the other hand likes being near the stores and entertainment, restaurants etc.  We'll just have to wait and see how things go.
