Ok, so when i shoot my 3555 gold tips out of my black widow PSR. Which is 45 pounds at my draw length of 26 to 27inches using 175g field points they fly like a dart. But when i put the same weight, 125 grain magnus 2blade with a 50 grain screw on adapter to equal 175g they have the most random flight. My totall arrow weight is about 565g. I'm using 3555 Gold Tips at full length with a 100 grain brass inserts and a totall of 175grain magnus 2 blade.

Thank you to all that help.

These are fletched, not bare shaft, right?

Sounds like the spine is a little iffy, and the broadheads are a little more than the tolerances will take.

Yes, they are fleched.

Here's what I found out, this year....

You're right....put 175gr up front (utilizng a std. insert and 175gr. of tip weight up front) and bare shaft your arrow....and you may get optimal flight.

Put a 100gr brass insert and a 75gr. tip on, though....and you get "not so optimal" flight.  I had it happen the same way.

The brass insert doesn't allow the arrow to flex where the insert is installed.  So I've gotten a stiff reaction when I tried this.

Killdeer

Have you put them on a spinner to make sure that the broadhead is mounted true?

The arrows are too weak try 125 grain field tips and the broadheads without the 50 grain adaptor. LCH

Also, double check for proper nock height.

WildmanSC

Cut your arrows to 28" back of point and try again.  Your present arrows are too long and the 175 gr up front makes them too weak in spine.  If you don't want to go from full length directly to 28", cut off a half inch at a time until you are getting good, consistent flight with your field points and broadheads.
