Thanks, but it isn't about me.  Doc Nock has the best signature line, something like "The words child and terminal illness should never be used in the same sentence" - kind of hit home to me.

I guess I'm lucky.  My 7 year old daughter Brienne has been diagnosed with [only] a learning dissability.  It really took the wind out of my wife's and my sails.  But, it isn't life threatening.  

I cannot imagine how it must absolutely rock a parent's world to hear news that their child is ill.  If this can help, we all should do our part.

We take a lot for granted in life, and the reality is, we are on such fragile ice.

Thanks to all who help this along the way.
