Thanks for all the words of wisdom and encourgement. A few pics for BowHuntingFool.  Like I said all I can remember is that the limbs are red elm.  I hope you like 'em too cause it took about an hour on dial up!!  :banghead:

Thanks.  It may not be the "best" bow out there but it's worth EVERY penny and well worth the wait!  Maybe one day I'll be able to afford another.

string bean.....That is a very nice bow, and it has enough power to kill anything in North America....go kill something with it....birds, rabbits, squirrels, heck, anything.
All you need to do is kill some critters with it to get your confidence up.

Gotta call from my buddy today wanting me to come over and shoot so I packed up my target and reached in the closet to get my compound bow case, took a couple of steps, then put it back and grabbed the Chinook and out the door I went.  I know it's just a target but I was suprised(plesantly)when my arrows where sticking just as far in it as his(he shootin' 60# compound). It sure helped with the "deprogramming" if nothing else.  Seems I shoot better when I dont' think about it, just pick a spot, draw, anchor and release.  At times it seems like I'm almost there and other times like I ain't gonna make it.  Thanks again for the encouragement!!

I'm not getting to go hunting this weekend but sometime next week then it's on full tilt boogie!!

If you have any trouble with that setup it is because of shooter error.Much more than enough bow and arrow weight for the things you want to hunt than is needed. jmo
